Delores and Des thoughtfully renovated Scott’s Barn to provide a unique visitor experience.
The original building dates to the time that Cookstown was founded in 1620 and it was important to Delores and Des to preserve this 17th century building with care and authenticity.
Delores has ensured that the cottage is furnished in country chic interiors in keeping with the traditional style of the property. It also incorporates all modern conveniences.
Des is an experienced cyclist and is keen to share the unspoilt Sperrins landscape with other enthusiasts. He has cycled the length and breadth of Ireland and other foreign countries. In the process and with the help of family and friends more than £80K has been raised for cancer charities.
He loves sharing his recommendations for the very best routes and hidden gems to discover when cycling in the area.
